WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is entering into
a contract with the United States of America and Wichita
County Water Improvement District No. 2 for the purpose of
reconstruction and rehabilitation of Lake Kemp on the Big
Wichita River in Baylor County, Texas, under which contract
the City of Wichita Falls and Wichita County Water Improve-
ment District No. 2 are obligated to provide certain ad-
ditional lands, easements and rights of way necessary for
such project; and,
WHEREAS, in order to secure these lands, easements
and rights of way, it will be necessary to survey and
appraise such tracts of land.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to employ surveyors and appraisers, and proceed with the
making of such surveys and appraisals .
