WHEREAS, a federal grant in the amount of $15,000 may
be available for the purpose of establishing a planning and
research division within the police department of the City of
Wichita Falls, and another grant in the amount of $150,000,
over a two year period, may be available for programming data
processing of police activities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to
make applications for such grants and to submit them to the
proper federal authorities.
