BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
THAT certain contract dated January 23rd, 1967 between
the City of Wichita Falls and the American Red Cross providing
for the exchange of properties in Block No. 7 of the Bellevue
Addition is hereby approved, and the City Manager is authorized
to execute such contract for the City of Wichita Falls.

THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this the 23rd day
of January, 1967, between the City of Wichita Falls, herein-
after called City, and the Wichita Falls Chapter of the
American Red Cross, hereinafter called Red Cross.
W 1 T N E S S E T H:
WHEREAS, Red Cross is the owner of the following des-
cribed land situated in Wichita County, Texas, to- -wit:
BEGINNING at the northeast corner of Lot 1,
Block 7, Bellevue Addition to the City of WLchita
Falls,
THENCE west along the south line of Fifth
Street a distance of 150' to a point;
THENCE south parallel to Baylor Street a
distance of 150' to a point;
THENCE east parallel to Fifth Street a dis-
tance of 150' to a point on the west line of
Baylor Street;
THENCE north along the west line of Baylor
Street a distance of 150' to the place of begin-
ning.
WHEREAS, City owns the following described land situated
in Wichita County, Texas, to-wit:
BEGINNING at a point in the north line of
Lot 1, 3lock 7, Bellevue Addition to the City of
Wichita Falls, which point is 150' west of the
northeast corner of said Lot 1, and is the north-
west corner of the above described tract;
THEACE west along the south line of Fifth
Street 179' to the northeast corner of a tract

THENCE east 20 to a point;
THENCE south 23' to a point;

to a point, same being the southwest corner of
the tract above described;

WHEREAS, City and Red- Cross desire to exchange said

covenants herein contained, City and Red Cross do hereby
agree as follows:

described above to Red Cross, for so long as the same is
used as a Chapter House by Red Cross; in the event such use
is discontinued, such property, together with the improve-
ments thereon, shall revert to the City of Wichita Falls.
