BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The recommended policy concerning water and sewer extensions
to I.D.I. Expressway East Industrial Area set out in the memorandum
dated November 21, 1966 from Joe Smith, Director of Public Utilities,
to Jack Davis, City Manager, is hereby adopted as the policy of the
City of Wichita Falls.

J, Based on these approximate costs, we recommend that the City establish . '
the Allowing policies with respect to water and sewer extension to sub -' 4

A. Water
(1) Utilize existing bond fund monies and extend 12"
water main from existing 12" main in front of the
Wayfarer Inn east across proposed Waurika leg of
the expressway and thence south to the NW corner
of the Expressway mast industrial property.

Since sixty-%i11e per Cent {65%) of the 12" main
extension is involved in highway, expressway and
railroad crossings, with little chance to recover .
cost on a front -foot basis by future tie -ons, it
is ::ec.ummended that the City pay the total cost
of this offsite extension. Cost is estimated at
$11,200.00.

It is recommended that the ansite water extension, ,.
approximate cost. of $25,600.00., be constructed
and funded from existing"bond fund monies by the
City and that a pro -rata charge of $3.00 per front -.
foot be assessed when tie --on is made.

D. Sewer
(1)
Sewer main-extension would be made from an existing
main at the Sunnyside Addition to the expressway east
industrial. property. This main is designed so that
it will sufficiently serve the 10.1. property as
well,•as approximately 314 acres between the Sunny-
side Addition and- „the I.D.I. property.

Easement cost connected with extension of the sewer
plain from Sunnyside Addition, estimated to be approxi-
mately $3,600.00, would totally be paid by the City.

Costs of onsite sewer extension would by payable
immediately by in•dustrial Development Incorporated.
Estimated cost of on -site sewer extensions is $38,708.00.".'.'

Offsite sewer extensions estimated at $49,984.00 from
tre Sunnyside Addition to Expressway East industrial
property would be reimbursable to the City from the
following sources as property is platted and annexed..
