WHEREAS, heretofore a contract .dated June 21st, 1966
was executed for the,.City of Wichita Falls by Jack Davis,
City Manager, , with Continental Pipe Line, Company, providing
for ,.the construction of. a new segment of Continental' s six
inch and four inch crude oil mains through the Lake Arrow-
head basin; and,
WHEREAS, although the .City, Manager was authorized
to make such contract, such authority does not appear of
record.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
ALDERMEN OF THE, CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
That certain contract dated June 21st, 1966 between
the City of. Wichita Falls, and Continental Pipe Line Company,
providing for the construction of a new segment of Conti-
nental ' s six inch and four inch crude oil mains, is hereby
approved,, .and the execution of such contract in the name.
of, the City of Wichita Falls by the City Manager is hereby
ratified and confirmed.
