AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF THAT PORTION OF DEANS
LANE, FROM BURKBURNETT HIGHWAY (SH-240) TO EDEN LANE, A
STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, TO
FAIRFAX AVENUE; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, OR PORTIONS
1 THEREOF, IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Wichita Falls has
recommended that the Board of Aldermen change the name of Deans Lane,
from the Burkburnett Highway (SH-240) to Eden Lane, a street within the
City of Wichita Falls, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls
believes that it is in the best interest of said City that such name
change be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The name of that portion of Deans Lane, from
Burkburnett Highway (SH-240) to Eden Lane, shall be changed to Fairfax
Avenue.
SECTION 2. All ordinances, or portions thereof, in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
