WHEREAS, heretofore the Board of Aldermen has authorized the City Manager
to execute contracts for the purchase of land necessary for Lake Arrowhead; and,
WHEREAS, the City Manager has made contract with the following owner to
purchase the number of acres shown and for the consideration shown (subject to
adjustment in the event an actual survey shows there is more or less acreage in
each tract) , to-wit:
P. V. Howard, 87.88 acres, $27,156.00, for surface and damages to
minerals and remainder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, that the above contract for the purchase of land at Lake
Arrowhead be and the same is hereby ratified and confirmed.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 9th day of May, 1966.
