Ord 2451 9/17/1968 ORDINANCE NO. o1[/-c/(
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF THAT PORTION OF PRENTICE "
DRIVE, FROM ALAMO DRIVE TO PRIMROSE. DRIVE, A STREET WITHIN
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, TO DUNBARTON DRIVE; AND
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, OR PORTIONS THEREOF, IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH.
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Wichita Falls has
recommended that the Board of Aldermen change the name of Prentice Drive,
from Alamo Drive to Primrose Drive, a street within the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls
believes that it is in the best interest of said City that such name
change be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The name of that portion of Prentice Drive, from
Alamo Drive to Primrose Drive, shall be changed to Dunbarton Drive.
SECTION 2. All ordinances, or portions thereof, in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
