ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING THAT PORTION OF TILDEN
STREET ADJACENT TO THE EAST PROPERTY LINE' OF LOT 1 IN BLOCK
49A OF THE HIGHLAND ADDITION, AND RESERVING A UTILITY
EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, deems it advisable and in the public interest to close that
portion of the street hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That portion of Tilden Street adjacent to the east
property line of Lot 1 in block. 49A of the Highland Addition to the
City of Wichita Falls, be and the- same is hereby closed and abandoned.
SECTION 2. The City of Wichita. Falls, Texas, hereby reserves
an easement in said land for the purpose of laying and maintaining all
kind and character of utility lines, including water, gas, electric,
telephone and power lines, and sanitary and storm sewers, and drainage
ditches.
