ST:CTIO I. That the budget estimate of the revenues of
the City of Wichita F:211s end the expenses of conducting the
affairs for the ensuing year, beginning 0::tober 1, 1968 and
ending Septomber,30, 1969 ;, as submitted to the Board of Alder-
nen by the City Manager of said City, be and the sane is in
all things adopted ar3 approved as the budget estimate of all
current expenses as well as the fixed charges against said
City for the fiscal year beginning the 1st day of October,
1968 and ending the 30th di3, of September, 1969.
SECTION 2. That the rppropri-tion for the fiscal year
beginning October 1, 1968 and ending September 30, 1969, be
set up in accounts as set out in said budget which is made a
part hereof.
SECTION 3. The immediate need to continue the normal
operation of the business of the city creates an emergency,
and in order to protect the public health, welfare and to
preserve the peace , this ordinance shall take effect immed-
iately , and it is so ordained.
