Ord 2458 10/15/1968 ORDINANCE NO. 4;44571 AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR THE ORDERING AND PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF PORTIONS OF AVENUES, STREETS AND PUBLIC PLACES IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, DESIGNATED AS A PORTION OF THE 1968 ASSESSMENT PAVING PROGRAM, KEMP BOULEVARD, SUPPLEMENTAL PAVING FOR KEMP BOULEVARD AND SUPPLEMENTAL PAVING FOR WENONAH-ARTHUR- GRANT DRAINAGE PROJECTS, DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATION THEREFOR AND PROVIDING SUNDRY OTHER MATTERS INCIDENT THERETO. WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas is of the opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of avenues, streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas should be improved; THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: I. It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the fol- lowing portions of avenues, streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas be improved, to-wit: ALABAMA AVENUE: From the west property line of the alley west of Colquitt Road to the east property line of Lawrence Road. The City Engineer is hereby ordered and directed to prepare Plans and Specifications for the improvement of the hereinabove described portions of avenues, streets and public places as soon as practicable and to present same to the Board of Aldermen. In this connection, the City Engineer may provide in the aforemen- tioned Plans and Specifications alternate types of improvements to be con- structed on all or a part of the above described portions of avenues, streets and public places if he deems it advisable. III.
