WHEREAS , it is the belief of the Board of Aldermen
that the citizens of Wichita Falls derive benefits from the
beautification of. the City, and in furtherance of this belief
the City has started a tree-planting program and has developed
a downtown park at Ninth and Ohio Streets ; and,
WHEREAS, Randle Forcher, has developed a beautiful area
at the location of the Allstate Insurance .Company at East Scott
and Jacksboro Highway; and ,
WHEREAS, Randle Forcher has provided at his own expense
a scene which brings pleasure to our citizens and travelers
passing through our City, and also provides an example that
encourages other property owners to follow.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Randle Forcher is hereby commended for his beautification
of his property, which was a forward step toward improving the
appearance of our City.
