WHEREAS, it• is the belief of the Board of Aldermen
that the citizens of Wichita Falls derive benefits from the
beautification of the City, and in furtherance of this belief
the City has started a tree-planting program and has developed
a downtown park at Ninth and Ohio Streets ; and,
WHEREAS, Ace Electric Company, owned by Glenwood Groves,
ha,s developed a beautiful area at its location at Austin and
Mill Streets ; arid,
WHEREAS, Ace Electric Company has provided at its own expense
a scene which brings pleasure to our citizens and travelers pass-
ing through our City, and also provides an example that encourages
other property owners to follow.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
Ace Electric Company is hereby commended for its beautifica-
tion of its property, which was a forward step toward improving
the appearance of our City.
