BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
THAT certain contract of sale between W. T. Waggoner
Estate and the City of Wichita Falls and Wichita County Water
Improvement District No.- 2 , in which the Waggoner Estate agrees
to convey to the City and the Water Improvement District 475. 9
acres of land, more or less, at the present dam site area at
Lake Kemp in Baylor County, Texas , is hereby approved, and
the Mayor is authorized to execute the same for the City of
Wichita Falls , provided that it is approved by the Corps of
Engineers .
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 10th day of June, 1968 .
