WHEREAS, on March 22nd, 1968 Texas Bank & Trust in
Wichita Falls was robbed; and,
WHEREAS, within sixteen minutes after the time of such
robbery, police officers of the Police Department of the City
of Wichita Falls had arrested two suspects; and,
WHEREAS, such swift and efficient action brought credit
to the police officers involved, the Police Department and to
the entire City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Chief of Police and the Police Department, particularly
those officers who were personally involved in such arrest, are
hereby commended for their outstanding performance of duty in
this case.
