WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of Wichita Falls
to obtain from Ernest Robertson a certain tract of land con-
taining 1. 124 acres, more or less, out of the A. R. Collins
Survey, Abstract 414, Wichita County, Texas, for the purpose
of constructing thereon an overhead water storage tank, and
the sum of $5,000 is a fair and reasonable price to pay for
such tract of land; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of Wichita Falls
to obtain from Home Development Corporation a certain tract of
land containing 0 .434 acres, more or less, out of the Thomas
Hardy Survey, Abstract 367 , Wichita County, Texas, for the
purpose of constructing a water booster pump station, and the
sum of $3, 550 is a fair and reasonable price to pay for such
tract of land.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized and directed to purchase
from Ernest Robertson said 1. 124 acre tract of land for the
sum of $5,000, and to purchase from Home Development Corpora-
tion said 0 .434 acre tract of land for the sum of $3, 550 .
