WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Wichita Falls
that the Texas Highway Department install freeway lighting systems
on certain portions of U.S. 287 freeway from the Jacksboro Highway
east toward Henrietta and of U.S. 281 freeway south toward Jacks-
boro; and,
WHEREAS, certain portions of these freeways are outside
the present city limits and must be annexed prior to completion of
such lighting systems.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, that the City intends to annex
in the future those portions of such freeways as are shown on the
attached plat.
