WHEREAS, R. Clay Underwood has resigned his position
as Chairman of the Citizens Advisory Committee to devote his
time to his business interests; and,
WHEREAS, during the few years that Mr. Underwood was
Chairman of the Citizens Advisory Committee he devoted a tre-
mendous amount of his time and talents to public affairs which
will be of lasting benefit to this community and its people;
and,
WHEREAS, a dynamic individual with the qualities of
leadership such as are possessed by Mr. Underwood is a great
asset to a city and his departure from the Citizens Advisory
Committee is a real loss to this City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The appreciation of the citizens of Wichita Falls be
extended to R. Clay Underwood for his many contributions to
the community and that best wishes be extended to him for his
future success and happiness .
