AN ORDINANCE DETERMING THE NECESSITY FOR THE ORDERING
AND PROVIDING FOR THE IPIROVEMENT OF PORTIONS OF AVENUES ,
STREETS AND PUBLIC PLACES IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, DESIGNATED AS A PORTION OF THE 1969 RECONSTRUCTION
PAVING PROGRAM, DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PREPARE
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR AND PROVIDING SUNDRY OTHER
MATTERS INCIDENT THERETO.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas is of the opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of avenues,
streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas should be
improved; THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
I.
It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the following
portions of avenues, streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas be improved, to-wit:
JOHNSON ROAD: From the west property line of
Fairway Boulevard to the west
property line of Raider Drive.
NINTH STREET: From the east property line of
Beverly Drive to the west property
line of Hayes Street.
DUNCAN STREET: From the west property line of Reilly
Avenue to the east property line of
Rosewood Avenue.
RIDGEWAY DRIVE: From the north property line of
Highway U.S. 287 to the south
property line of Borton Street.
II.
The City Engineer is hereby ordered and directed to prepare Plans and
Specifications for the improvement of the hereinabove described portions of ave-
nues, streets and public places as soon as practicable and to present same to
the Board of Aldermen.
In this connection, the City Engineer may provide in the aforemen-
tioned Plans and Specifications alternate types of improvements to be con-
; structed on all or a part of the above described portions of avenues, streets
and public places if he deems it advisable.
III.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect imme-
diately from and after its passage.

Notice is hereby given that the governing body of the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, has ordered and determined it to be necessary that
the following streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas,
be improved and that a portion of the cost of such improvement is to be
specially assessed as a lien upon the property abutting thereon, and said
portions of streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, as follows:
JOHNSON ROAD: From the west property line of Fairway
Boulevard to the west property line of
Raider Drive.
NINTH STREET: From the east property line of Beverly
Drive to the west property line of
Hayes Street.
DUNCAN STREET: From the west property line of Reilly
