AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF THAT PORTION OF SH=240
(COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS LOOP 165, BIJRKBURNETT HIGHWAY
AND TRUCK ROUTE) FROM EAST SCOTT TO THE NORTH CITY LIMITS,
A STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, TO
EASTSIDE DRIVE; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, OR PORTIONS
THEREOF, IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
has recommended that the Board of Aldermen change the name of SH-240
from East Scott north to the 'north city limits, a street within the
City of Wichita Falls, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls believes
that it is in the best interest of said City that such name change be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
- SECTION 1. The name of that portion of SH-240, from East Scott
north to the north city limits, shall be changed to Eastside Drive.
SECTION 2. All ordinances, or portions thereof, in conflict here-
with are thereby repealed.
