WHEREAS, the legislature of the State of Texas en-
acted Section 7 of Article 3265 of Vernon' s Annotated Civil
Statutes which provides for reimbursement for moving expenses
for personal property to owners of land who are actually and
physically displaced and permanently moved from their dwell-
ing or place of business.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDER-
MEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to enter into contracts for reimbursement for moving expenses
for personal property with those owners of land who are actual-
ly and physically displaced and permanently moved from their
dwelling or place of business . The City Manager is authorized
to reimburse those owners of land who are entitled to reim-
bursement as provided in Section 7 of Article 3265 of Vernon' s
Annotated Civil Statutes who have previously been displaced
and moved from their dwelling or place of business and have
not been reimbursed for their moving expenses.
