ORDINANCE NO. ; 46-
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING THOSE PORTIONS OF HUDSON
AVENUE, LAFAYETTE AVENUE AND REVERE AVENUE FROM COLQUITT
ROAD WEST TO THE ALLEY AND RESERVING UTILITY EASEMENTS.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close those portions
of the streets hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. That portion of Hudson Avenue, being 150 feet in
length, from Colquitt Road west to the alley, be and the same is hereby
closed and abandoned.
SECTION 2. That portion of Lafayette Avenue, being 150 feet
in length, from Colquitt Road west to the alley, be and the same is
hereby closed and abandoned.
SECTION 3. That portion of Revere Avenue, being 133 feet in
length, from Colquitt Road west to the alley, be and the same is hereby
closed and abandoned.
SECTION 4. The City of Wichita Falls, Texas hereby reserves
easements in said land for the purpose of laying and maintaining all
kind and character of utility lines including water, gas, electric,
telephone and power lines, sanitary and storm sewers and drainage
ditches; no structures, including fences, shall be built on said ease-
ments.
