WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has heretofore executed
a promissory note payable to the order of the City National Bank in
Wichita Falls in the principal amount of three hundred fifty thou-
sand dollars ($350,000) ; and,
WHEREAS, this promissory note is due on September 30, 1969,
and it is deemed advisable to make a new temporary loan from said
bank in order to renew and extend part of the unpaid balance on said
note.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Public notice is hereby given that, at the regular meeting
of the Board of Aldermen on September 16, 1969 at 2 : 30 o'clock p. m.
in the Council Room in Memorial Auditorium, an ordinance authorizing
such a loan shall be considerc;a by the Board of Aldermen.
