ORDINANCE NO. o d--1
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH (c) OF SECTION 29-114
OF THE TRAFFIC ORDINANCE OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING NO
PARKING ZONES ON CERTAIN STREETS AND HIGHWAYS, AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Paragraph (c) of Section 29-114 of the Traffic
Ordinance of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Wichita Falls is hereby
amended by adding to the schedule in such Section the following:
Street From To Side
" Broad 8th 9th East
Holliday 14th 16th East
Jacksboro Hwy. Median opening Point 800' north East "
south of Rathgeber Rd.
SECTION 2. The fact that many people live within the City of
Wichita Falls and that there is urgent need for protection to its citizens
and their property upon the City's roads and streets, this ordinance is •
declared an emergency measure on the grounds of urgent public need for orderly
flow of traffic upon its roads and streets and a public need for the preser-
vation of the peace, health, and safety of the property of the City. This
• ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
