Ord 2507 6/17/1969 ORDINANCE NO. 2 .j"© 7 G - ! 7 - 6 7 AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR TEE ORDERING AND PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF PORTIONS OF AVENUES, STREETS, AND PUBLIC PLACES IN TES CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, DESIGNATED AS A PORTION OF THE OLD SEYMOUR ROAD AND AVENUE K PAVING PROJECT, DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR AND PROVID- ING SUNDRY OTHER MATTERS INCIDENT THERETO. WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas is of the opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of avenues, streets and public places in the. City of Wichita Falls, Texas should be im- proved; THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: I. • It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the following portions of avenues, streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas be improved, to-wit: OLD SEYMOUR ROAD: From the east property line of McNiel Avenue to the east property line of Santa Fe Street. • AVENUE K: From the west property line of of Arthur Street to the west property line of Kemp Boulevard • II. The City Engineer is hereby ordered and directed to prepare Plans - and Specifications for the improvement of the hereinabova described portions of avenues, streets and public places as soon as practicable and to present same to the Board of Aldermen. In this connection, the City Engineer may provide in the afore- mentioned Plans and Specifications alternate types of improvements to be constructed on all or a •part of the above described portions of avenues, streets and public places if he deems it a-usable. III. This ordinance shall take effect al.:6 be in force and effect imme- diately from and after its passage.
