AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR THE ORDERING
AND PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF PORTIONS OF AVENUES ,
STREETS AND PUBLIC PLACES IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, DESIGNATED AS THE MIDWESTERN PARKWAY (ARCHER-HAM-
ILTON-I-IAMPSTEAD) PROJECT PHASE II OF THE 1967 BOND PROGRAM,
DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFI-
CATIONS THEREFOR AND PROVIDING SUNDRY OTHER MATTERS INCIDENT
THERETO.

WHEREAS, the Board of Alermen of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas is of the opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of avenues,
streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas should be im-
proved; THEREFORE ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
I.
It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the following
portions of avenues, streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas be improved , to-wit:
MIDWESTERN PARKWAY' (Archer-Hamilton-Hampstead) PHASE II
From the east property line of U.S. Highway No. 281
to the east property line of U. S. Highway 281,
Expressway.

II.
The City Engineer is hereby ordered and directed to prepare Plans
and Specifications for the improvement of the hereinabove described portions
of avenues, streets rand public places as soon as practicable and to present
same to the Board of Aldermen.
In this connection, the City Engineer may provide in the afore-
mentioned Plans and Specifications alternate types of improvements to be
constructed on all or a part of the above described portions of avenues,
streets and public places if he deems it advisable.
III.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect imme-
diately from and after its passage.

Notice is hereby given that the governing body of the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, has ordered and determined it to -be necessary that
the following streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas,
be improved and that a portion of the cost of such improvement is to be
specially assessed as a lien upon the property abutting thereon, and said
portions of streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, as follows:
MIDWESTERN PARKWAY-(Archer-Hamilton-Hampstead) PHASE II
From the east property line of U.S. Highway No. 281
to the east property line of U. S. Highway No. 281
Expressway.
IN TESTIMONY. WHEREOF, the City of Wichita Falls has. caused this
instrument to be executed in its behalf and signed by its Mayor, this
