Res 1217 8/3/1971RESOLUTION NO. /02/7
WHEREAS, the Army Corps of Engineers has submitted to
the City of Wichita Falls a letter agreement dated July 21, 1971,
which constitutes a right-of-entry, authorizing the City to commence
construction of a sewer line from Municipal Airport to the existing
government-owned sewer line on Sheppard Air Force Base; and,
WHEREAS, this right-of-entry will be followed by the
execution of a formal easement and a service contract covering
sewage treatment services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said right-of-entry letter agreement dated July 21, 1971
is hereby approved, and the City Manager is authorized to accept the
same for the City of Wichita Falls; when the formal easement and the
service contract are tendered by the Corps of Engineers, the City
Manager is authorized to execute them and to pay the consideration
for such easement.
