RESOLUTION NO. //%a/
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 1081 adopted
by the Board of Aldermen on May 19, 1970, the City Manager
has negotiated the sale of five hundred twenty-four (524)
acres of land, more or less, at Lake Arrowhead tothe Parks
and Wildlife Department of the State of Texas for development
of a State Park; the purchase price for said land is the sum
of Fifty Thousand ($50,000) Dollars; and,
WHEREAS, a sales agreement has been prepared setting
out the terms of said sale.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDER-
MEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS , THAT:
Such sales agreement between the City of Wichita
Falls and the Parks and Wildlife Department of the State of
Texas is hereby approved, and the City Manager is authorized
to execute the same for the City of Wichita Falls and to exe-
cute a purchase voucher to the State for the sum of Fifty
Thousand ($50,000) Dollars; when all the conditions of the
contract have been met, the City Manager is authorized to
execute and deliver a general warranty deed conveying said land
to the Parks and Wildlife Department of the State of Texas upon
receipt of the consideration from such Department.
