WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has received bids
for Project No. 89-168-01 for certain sanitary sewer improvements;
and,
WHEREAS, it was deemed necessary and proper to apply
for Federal Grant under the Federal Water Pollution Control Act,
Public Law 660 as amended; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is now ready to
award contract for said Project No. 89-168-01.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute for the City
of Wichita Falls a contract between the City of Wichita Falls
and Opex Construction Company for said Project No. 89-168-01 in
the amount of $194,704.40.
