RESOLUTION APPROVING FIRST RENEWAL OF LEASE
BETWEEN BOARD OF HEALTH AND COMMUNITY ACTION
CORPORATION OF SPACE IN PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
That certain First Renewal of Lease, a copy of which is
attached hereto, between Wichita Falls City-Wichita County Board
of Health and Community Action Corporation of Wichita Falls and
North Texas area, covering space in the Wichita Falls City-County
Public Health Center, such space to be occupied for the purpose
of conducting a Family Planning Program, for an additional term
of one year, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1973.

FIRST RENEWAL OF LEASE
THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF WICHITA
This First Renewal of Lease, made and entered into this
the day of 1973, by and between Wichita
Falls City-Wichita County Board of Health, hereinafter called
Lessor and Community Action Corporation of Wichita Falls and
North Texas area, hereinafter called Lessee,
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, heretofore Lessor and Lessee entered into a lease
agreement dated July 12, 1971, covering certain space in the
Wichita City-County Public Health Center, such space to be occupied
for the purpose of conducting Lessee' s Family Planning Program,
which lease will expire on February 28, 1973; and,
WHEREAS, Lessor and Lessee desire to renew such lease, with
certain modifications, for an additional term of one year.
Now, therefore, for and in consideration of the mutual cove-
nants herein contained, Lessor and Lessee do hereby agree as
follows :
The above described lease agreement dated July 12, 1971 is
hereby renewed and extended for an additional term beginning March
1, 1973 and ending on February 28, 1974 upon the same terms, condi-
tions and provisions contained in such lease agreement, with the
following changes and amendments :
1. Lessee shall not have the option to renew or extend the
lease after its termination on February 28, 1974.
2. Paragraph 8th of said lease is amended so it shall read
as follows :
8th:-The office space and shared locked storage area will
be provided on a full-time basis. The clinical space and waiting
areas will be provided at such times as are designated in writing
by the director of the Public Health Center. Any desired change
in schedules of the availability of the clinical space and wait-
ing areas shall be presented in writing by the medical director
of the Family Planning Program to the director of the Public
Health Center, who shall be authorized to make such changes,
subject to the approval of the Board of Health. The assigned
nurse will assume responsibility at each evening clinic to see
that the building is properly protected and cared for during
clinical sessions and is locked following clinical activities."
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have caused this instrument
to be executed as of the day and year first above stated.
