WHEREAS, on March 7, 1972 the Board of Aldermen of the
City of Wichita Falls adopted Resolution No. 1280, calling an elec-
tion to be held on April 4, 1972 to determine whether or not the
Board of Aldermen should be authorized to issue water and sewer
revenue bonds in the aggregate principal amount of $2,160,000 for
the purpose of improving and extending the City' s sewer system; and,
WHEREAS, because of additional information concerning
this matter which has been brought to the attention of the Board of
Aldermen, it is now deemed necessary and advisable not to hold such
election.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Resolution No. 1280 is hereby repealed, and such election
shall not be held.
