WHEREAS, heretofore the City of Wichita Falls advertised
for competitive bids for the relocation and construction of Sanitary
Sewer Improvements for North Beverly Highway and Central Manufacturing
Company; and
WHEREAS, only one bid was received, the bid of Opex, Inc.
of Olney, Texas, is a low and good bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid of Opex, Inc. in the amount of Nineteen Thousand
Eight Hundred Fifty One Dollars and No Cents ($19,851.00) is hereby
accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute, for the
City of Wichita Falls, a contract with said bidder for the relocation
and construction of such sewer lines.
