RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT TO BOYD
CURTIS FOR DEMOLITION OF HAZARDOUS BUILD-
INGS AND THE CLEARING AND CLEANING OF LOTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised
for bids for the demolition of certain hazardous buildings
and the clearing and cleaning of lots at various locations
in the city; and,
WHEREAS, three bids were received, but the bid of
Boyd Curtis in the amount of $6, 250 was the only bid
complete with bid bond, and it is found to be a reason-
able and favorable bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF
ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT;
Said bid of Boyd Curtis in the amount of $6,250 is
hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute for the City of Wichita Falls a contract with
Boyd Curtis for the demolition of such hazardous build-
ings and the clearing and cleaning of such lots.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 18TH DAY OF DECEMBER,
1973.
