RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT WITH
NAVARRO CONTRACTING CO. FOR REPAIRS
TO THE LAKE DIVERSION SPILLWAY STRUCT-
URES.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Wichita County
Water Improvement District No. 2 have advertised for bids
for the construction of repairs to the Lake Diversion
spillway structures; and,
WHEREAS, three bids were received, and it is found that
the low alternate bid of Navarro Contracting Co. in the amount
of $676, 962 is the lowest and best alternate bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said alternate bid of Navarro Contracting Co. in the
amount of $676 ,962 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager
is authorized to execute for the City of Wichita Falls, acting
together with Wichita County Water Improvement District No.2,
a contract with Navarro Contracting Co. for the construction
of such repairs to the Lake Diversion spillway structures.
