RESOLUTION APPROVING SETTLEMENT OF
CAUSE NO. CA7-736 , KAY PETERSON,
ET AL VS. CITY OF WICHITA FALLS.
WHEREAS, the parties in Cause No. CA7-736, Kay Peterson,
et al vs. City of Wichita Falls, et al, in the United States
District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Wichita
Falls Division, have agreed to a compromise and settlement of
said law suit, whereby the City of Wichita Falls will pay to
the plaintiffs the sum of $8000 in full settlement of all
claims alleged in such suit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such compromise and settlement of said law suit is hereby
approved, and the City Manager is authorized to make such pay-
ment in settlement of such suit.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 4TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1973.
