RESOLUTION APPROVING FOURTH AMENDMENT OF
LEASE AGREEMENT TO WICHITA FALLS FUNLAND,
INC. , GRANTING AN OPTION TO EXTEND THE
LEASE FOR AN ADDITIONAL FIVE (5) YEARS.
WHEREAS, heretofore, on the 12th day of July, 1965,
a contract was entered into by and between the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, and Wichita Falls Funland, Inc. , concerning the
operation of an amusement park at Weeks Park; and,
WHEREAS, Wichita Falls Funland, Inc. has requested that
the contract be amended to grant it a further option of extend-
ing the contract for an additional five (5) year period from
July 1st, 1980 through June 30th, 1985.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
That certain Fourth Amendment of lease agreement between
the City of Wichita Falls and Wichita Falls Funland, Inc. ,
granting such option to renew for an additional five (5) years,
is hereby approved, and the City Manager is authorized to exe-
cute the same for the City of Wichita Falls.

FOURTH AMENDMENT OF LEASE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, heretofore, on the 12th day of July, 1965, a
certain contract was entered into by and between the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, hereinafter called "City" , and Wichita
Falls Funland, Inc. , hereinafter called "Funland" ; and,
WHEREAS, such agreement expires June 30th, 1980, and
Funland has requested an option to renew the same for an addi-
tional period of five (5) years.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Funland do hereby agree as
follows:
That certain contract between the parties dated July 12,
1965 is hereby amended by adding thereto Paragraph 11, which
shall read as follows:
11. City grants to Funland a further option to
renew this contract for an additional five (5) year period from
and after July 1st, 1980; Funland may exercise this option by
notifying City in writing of its intention to do so not less
than thirty (30) days before July 1st, 1980."
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused these
