RESOLUTION COMMENDING POLICE OFFICERS
DAVID BALL, LARRY KING AND JOHN RUDOWSKI.
WHEREAS , on April 10th, 1975, Police Officers David Ball,
Larry King and John Rudowski were involved in a tragic gun
battle in which one man was killed and two of the officers
were wounded; and,
WHEREAS , the actions of the officers at the time were
justifiable and proper.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Police Officers David Ball, Larry King and John Rudowski
are hereby commended for their bravery at the time of this
incident.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 22nd day of April, 1975.
