RESOLUTION APPROVING SECOND AMENDMENT
TO WATER PURCHASE CONTRACT WITH WICHITA
VALLEY WATER SUPPLY CORPORATION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
That certain Second Amendment to water purchase con-
tract, a copy of which is attached hereto, between the City
of Wichita Falls and Wichita Valley Water Supply Corporation,
is hereby approved, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute the same for the City of Wichita Falls.

SECOND AMENDMENT TO WATER PURCHASE CONTRACT
This Second Amendment to Water Purchase Contract is
made and entered into this the 3rd day of September, 1974,
by and between the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, hereinafter
called "City" , and 'Wichita Valley Water Supply Corporation,
hereinafter called "Corporation
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS , by Resolution No. 1517 , adopted on March 19th,
1974 , the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls
approved a certain Water Purchase Contract with Wichita Valley
Water Supply Corporation, which Contract was amended by an
Amendment dated April 8th, 1974 , which was approved by the
Board of Aldermen on April 8th, 1974 by Resolution No. 1521;
and,
WHEREAS , the parties hereto do hereby desire to further
amend such Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION OF THE MUTUAL
COVENANTS HEREIN CONTAINED, THE PARTIES HERETO DO HEREBY AGREE
AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Fifth Paragraph on Page 1 of said Water Purchase
Contract is hereby amended to read as follows:
WHEREAS, the Corporation will operate a water
supply and distribution system, and serve the
area of Lake Kickapoo, the Town of Mankins and
the Town of Dundee, and the present service
area of the Corporation lying south of 287
Expressway (except for a small area north of
the Expressway and east of F.M. 1814) and east,
south and west of Iowa Park; an area bounded
on the south by 287 Expressway, on the east by
Rifle Range Road, on the north by F. M. 2345;
an area on either side of State Highway No. 79
south of Wichita Falls between F. M. 1954 and
the Little Wichita River, all in Texas; and, "
2 . That certain map attached to said Water Purchase
Contract and identified in Section 5. 0 thereof as Exhibit "C"
is hereby supplemented by that certain map attached hereto,
and marked Exhibit "D" . The service area of the Wichita
Valley Water Supply Corporation shall be restricted to the
area as indicated in Exhibits "C" and "D" and conditioned by
the other restrictions in said Section 5. 0 of said Water
Purchase Contract.
Except insofar as such Water Purchase Contract is
amended herein, the same shall remain in full force and
effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused
these presents to be executed as of the day in here first
above set out.
