RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT OF SECTION XVII
OF CONTRACT BETWEEN GOLD CROSS AMBULANCE SER-
VICE, INC. OF WICHITA FALLS AND THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS AND OTHERS , TO CHANGE THE TIME OF
THE AUDIT; APPOINTING JARRATT, COCKE AND TILLERY
TO PERFORM THE ANNUAL AUDIT OF SUCH AMBULANCE
OPERATOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT :
SECTION 1. There is hereby approved an amendment of
Section XVII of that certain contract dated February 1st,
1975, between the City of Wichita Falls , and others, and
Gold Cross Ambulance Service, Inc. of Wichita Falls; such
amendment shall provide that the audit shall be made upon the
conclusion of the Contractor' s fiscal year, rather than the
contract year , and that the audit report shall be submitted
within ninety (90) days after the end of such fiscal year,
rather than within sixty (60) days after the end of the
contract year. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute for the City of Wichita Falls such instrument as is
necessary to effect this amendment.
SECTION 2. The firm of Jarratt, Cocke and Tillery is
hereby appointed as independent auditor to perform the
annual audit of Gold Cross Ambulance Service, Inc. , of
Wichita Falls for the fiscal year ending April 18th, 1976.
