ORDINANCE FORMING A MUNICIPAL COURT OF RECORD
IN WICHITA FALLS, AS CREATED BY SENATE BILL
NO. 392 , 61ST LEGISLATURE, REGULAR SESSION.
WHEREAS , it is hereby found and determined by the Board
Of Aldermen that the conditions of the dockets of the other courts
of Wichita County are such, in order to properly dispose of the
cases arising in the City, as to require the formation of the
Municipal Court of Record created by Senate Bill No. 392 , Chapter
762 , Page 2255, 61st Legislature, Regular Session.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby formed a court of record to
be known as the "Municipal Court" to be held in the City of Wichita
Falls, which court was created by Senate Bill No. 392 , adopted by
the 61st Legislature of the State of Texas.
SECTION 2 . This ordinance shall become effective on
November 1, 1969.
