AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING CERTAIN TEN (10)
FOOT WIDE CARRIAGE TRAILS IN BLOCKS E, F, I, AND J
IN RIVERSIDE CEMETERY.
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described carriage trails no longer
serve any useful purpose but, on the contrary, they waste valuable
space which is needed for burial purposes ; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, deems it advisable and in the public interest to close
those certain carriage trails hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. That the fifteen (15) ten (10) foot wide car-
riage trails in Riverside Cemetery, hereinafter described, be and
the same are hereby closed and abandoned, to-wit:
IN BLOCK E
1. The trail abutting the east lines of Lots 4, 22, 40, 58,
76, 94, 112 , 130, 148 and 166.
2 . The trail abutting the east line of Lots 6, 24, 42, 60,
78, 96, 114, 132 , 150 and 168.
3. The trail abutting the east line of Lots 26, 44, 62 , 80,
98, 116, 134, 152 and 170 .
4. The trail abutting the east lines of Lots 46, 64, 82 ,
100, 118, 136, 154 and 172 .
5. The trail abutting the east line of Lots 84, 102 , 120,
138, 156 and 174.
IN BLOCK F
6. Trail abutting the east line of Lots 184, 202 , 220, 238,
256 and 273.
7 . The trail abutting the east line of Lots 186, 204, 222,
240, 258, 275, and 289.
8. The trail abutting the east line of Lots 188, 206, 224,
242 , 260, 277 , 291 and 302 .
9. The trail abutting the east line of Lots 190, 208, 226,
244, 262 , 279, 293 and 304.
10. The trail abutting the east line of Lots 192, 210, 228,
246, 264, 281, 295, 306 and 314.
11. The trail abutting the east line of Lots 194, 212, 230,
248, 266, 283, 297, 308, 316, and 322 .
12 . The trail abutting the east line of Lots 196, 214, 232 ,
250 , 268, 285, 299, 310, 318 and 324.

SECTION 2 . The east-west walks which intersect these carriage
trails are not closed, but remain open.
