AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR THE ORDERING AND PROVIDING
FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF PORTIONS OF AVENUES, STREETS, AND PUBLIC PLACES
IN TILE CITY OF WICIT.ITA FALLS, TEXAS, DESIGNATED AS A PORTION OF TI]E
1969 RECONSTRUCTION PAVING PROGRAM, DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO
PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR AND PROVIDING SUNDRY OTHER
MATTERS INCIDENT THERETO.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas is of the
opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of avenues, streets, and public
places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas should be improved; THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS,
THAT:
I.
It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the following portions of
avenues, streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas be improved,
to-wit:
BORTON STREET: From the east property line of
Ridgeway Drive to the west
property line of Harlan Avenue
II,
The City Engineer is hereby ordered and directed to prepare Plans and Specifi-
cations for the improvement of the hereinabove described portions of avenues, streets,
and public places as soon as practicable and to present same to the Board of Alder-
men.
In this connection, the City Engineer may provide in the aforementioned Plans
and Specifications alternate types of improvements to be constructed on all or a part
of the above described portions of avenues, streets, and public places if he deem
it advisable.
III.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect immediately from and
after its passage.

Notice is hereby given that the governing body of the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, has ordered and determined it to be necessary that
the following streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas,
be improved and that a portion of the cost of such improvement is to be
specially assessed as a lien upon the property abutting thereon, and said
portions of streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas as follows:
BORTON STREET: From the east property line of
Ridgeway Drive to the west
property line of Harlan Avenue.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, the City of Wichita Falls has caused this inst-
rument to be executed in its behalf and signed by its Mayor, this
