RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID OF MEYERS BROS. , INC.
FOR BUILDING ALTERATIONS AND ADDITIONS FOR A
SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER.
WHEREAS, heretofore the City of Wichita Falls advertised
for bids for the construction of building alterations and
additions for a senior citizens center; and,
WHEREAS , twelve bids were received, and it is found that
the bid of Meyers Bros. , Inc. is the lowest responsible bid.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid of $195,253. 00 by Meyers Bros. , Inc. is hereby
accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract with Meyers Bros. , Inc. for the construction of
such building alterations and additions for a senior citizens
center.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 4TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1975.
