ORDINANCE NO. 4'5'61.---' AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR THE ORDERING AND PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF PORTIONS OF AVENUES, STREETS AND PUBLIC PLACES IN TILE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, DESIGNATED AS A PORTION OF THE 1970 RECONSTRUCTION PAVING PROGRAM, DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR AND PROVIDING SUNDRY OTHER MATTERS INCIDENT THERETO. WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas is of the opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of avenues, streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas should be improved; THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: I. It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the following portions of avenues, streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas be improved, to-wit: MANCHESTER ROAD: From the east property line of North Beverly Road to the east property line of Ross Avenue. LOBAN LANE: From the north property line of Manchester Road to 300 feet North. POWELL LANE: From the north property line of Manchester Road to 300 feet North. ROSS AVENUE: From the south property line of Manchester Road to 300 feet North. BEVERLY DRIVE: From the north property line of Ninth Street to the South property line of Highway U.S. 277. LAKE PARK DRIVE: From the north property line of Singleton Avenue to the north property line of Southwest Parkway. II. The City Engineer is hereby ordered and directed to prepare Plans and Specifications for the improvement of the hereinabove described portions of ave- nues, streets and public places as soon as practicable and to present same to the Board of Aldermen. In this connection, the City Engineer may provide in the aforemen- tioned Plans and Specifications alternate types of improvements to be con- structed on all or part of the above described portions of avenues, streets and public places if he deems it advisable.
