AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF THE
ALLEY BETWEEN BLOCK 3 WINDTHORST ROAD ADDITION AND
BLOCK 1 OF THE CANDLEWOOD PARK ADDITION TO WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, has recommended that it is advisable and in the public interest
to close the alley hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The portion of the alley between Block 3 Windthorst
Road Addition and Block 1 Candlewood Park Addition and further described
as follows:
Beginning at a point being the southeast corner
of Block 3 Windthorst Road Addition, and said
point being in the west line of a twenty-foot
(20') alley, thence N 000 50' 56" E along the
west line of said alley 208.12' to a point;
thence S 89° 09' 04" E 20' to a point, thence
S 000 50' 56" W along the east line of said
alley 208.12' to a point; thence N 88° 52' 34"
W 20' to the place of beginning,
be and the same is hereby closed and abandoned.
