AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7-15 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS REGULATING LOT COVERAGE FOR.
LOTS CONTAINING DWELLING UNITS.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, deem it advisable for the health and safety of the public to
regulate lot coverage for lots containing residential units.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 7-15 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by
adding Subsection (1.1) which shall read as follows:
"(1.1) Amend Section 105 of the Southern Standard Building
Code, 1965 Edition, by adding Section 105.9 to read as follows:
'105.9 - Lot Coverage.
No building permit shall be issued which will cause the combined
ground floor areas of all buildings on any lot occupied by a
residential dwelling unit to exceed forty per cent (4070 of
the lot area. '"
