Ord 2591 5/19/1970 ORDINANCE NO. 5-7/
AN ORDINANCE PERMANENTLY ABANDONING THE ALLEYS IN THE NOBLE
AND HENDERSON'S RESURVEY OF BLOCK 259 OF THE ORIGINAL TOWN
OF WICHITA FALLS AND RETAINING EASEMENT RIGHTS ON CERTAIN
PORTIONS OF THE ALLEYS.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
deem it advisable and in the public interest to permanently abandon and
release the alleys hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, .THAT:
SECTION 1. All alleys in the Noble and Henderson's Resurvey of
Block 259 of the Original Town of Wichita Falls, be and the same are
hereby permanently abandoned and released.
SECTION 2. This ordinance is passed subject to the retaining of
utility easement rights in the alley being closed between Lots 11-12 and
17-18.
