AN ORDINANCE CLOSING ALL PARKS WITHIN THE CITY,
EXCEPT THOSE LOCATED AT LAKE ARROWHEAD, FROM
TWELVE O' CLOCK MIDNIGHT TO FIVE O' CLOCK A. M.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Code of Ordinances of the City of Wichita Falls is
hereby amended by adding a new Section 22-3, which said Section
shall read as follows:
"Sec. 22-3. Parks closed during certain hours.
All City owned parks within the City, ex-
cept for those located at Lake Arrowhead, shall
be closed every day from twelve o' clock mid-
night until five o' clock a. m. , and it shall be
unlawful for anyone to loiter, idle, wander,
stroll or play in such parks during such period
when they are closed. However, if anyone ap-
plies for permission to carry out an activity
in a park during such hours, and the Director
of Parks and Recreation determines that such
activity will not create a disturbance or pub-
lic nuisance, such Director shall have authority
to issue a special permit for such activity."
