ORDINANCE PERMANENTLY ABANDONING THE 20' ALLEY BETWEEN LOTS
1-2 AND 3-4 OF BLOCK 8 OF THE SUNSET HEIGHTS ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, AND RETAINING EASEMENT RIGHTS.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
deem it advisable and in the public interest to permanently abandon and
release an alley hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS , THAT:
SECTION 1. The alley between Lots 1-2 and 3-4 of Block 8 of the
Sunset Heights Addition of the City of Wichita Falls, be and the same
is hereby permanently abandoned and released.
SECTION 2. This ordinance is passed subject to the retaining of
utility easement rights in the alley being closed. No structures shall
be placed on, over, or above the closed portion.
