AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS BY REVISING SEC-
TION 2-1 OF SAID CODE, PRESCRIBING THE TIME
AND PLACE OF THE REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE BOARD
OF ALDERMEN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 2-1 of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Wichita Falls, Texas is hereby amended so that such
Section shall read as follows:
"Section 2-1. Meetings of Board of Aldermen--Designated.
In accordance with Section 34, as amended, of the Char-
ter, the regular meeting times of the Board of Aldermen, except
the first meeting in April, shall be the first Tuesday and third
Tuesday of each month, at 10: 00 o' clock a. m. The first meeting
in April shall be at 8:00 o' clock p. m. on the Monday next fol-
lowing the regular municipal election. Regular meetings shall
be held in the Council Chamber in the Municipal Auditorium."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective on
the /47f day of 1970.
